Do you find yourself spending too much on beauty products just because you want the best results? We find that the most expensive products don’t always give you the best results. Sometimes it actually is better to buy the cheaper brands. This will avoid burning holes in your pockets and will keep your wallet happy! Today, we’re sharing our top tips for finding affordable beauty products:
Try the drugstore – Stores like Target, Rite Aid, and Walgreens have just as much makeup and skincare products as places like Sephora and Ulta. We find that the cheapest and best products lie within the aisles of drugstores and save us a ton of money! It’s also possible to use coupons at drugstores to get money off (or back!) your beauty purchases. While Rite Aid and Walgreens have worthwhile programs, CVS’ beauty club is the best.
Search on Amazon – We know you may be feeling skeptical when it comes to buying things from Amazon but we promise you that it’s worth it. Most of the time if you cannot find what you’re looking for in a beauty supply store or it is too expensive for your liking, Amazon has the answers! Most of the beauty supplies and makeup sold on Amazon is an overflow or products from stores such as Sephora and Ulta and they are sold at a cheaper rate. We highly recommend becoming an Amazon Prime member too, to receive free shipping (there’s even a deal for college students!). The less money spent the better!
For us? We usually spend between $25-$40 on makeup and beauty products/month when shopping at the drugstore or Target/Amazon. This is a steal compared to spending $25-$40 on just one product. Why spend so much when we can get an abundance of products for less?!
