We’re approaching that time of the year, ladies. The disappearing snow calls for a serious overhaul in your living environment, beauty regimen, andmaybe even life in general. Follow our Spring Cleaning Guide and you’ll be feeling fresh as a daisy.
Exfoliate – Body scrubs have been receiving a lot of hype on social media lately. From Frank’s Coffee Scrub which claims to treat stretch marks and scars to Jar’sall-natural vegan scrub, there’s an exfoliant to meet every need!
Trim & Chop – Did your hair have a rough winter? Or, are you in desperate need of a change? Now is the best time to rehab your hair from the woes of winter. Trimming off those split ends is a must, but if you’re feeling courageous, why not try a new do? Long locks may be the trend, but shorter hair is much easier to manage as the weather heats up.
Get Some Fresh Air – Some of the best things about spring are the smells. (Fresh flowers, anyone?) Whether you’re into candles, plug-ins or exotic flowers, there’s nothing like a new scent to lift your spirits.
Decorate – It’s a well-known fact that daylight can transform a room and we’re approaching the season of long, lovely days. Look around your living space and evaluate; should you add rug here or maybe hang a succulent there? Now is the perfect time to bring out your inner Martha Stewart.
Donate – Our closets could use some spring cleaning, too. Be honest with yourself: how many times have you worn that shirt you had to have five months ago? Go through your closet and evaluate what to keep and what you could do without. Consider donating them to Goodwill, the Salvation Army, or your little sister.
Refresh – We may have dedicated an entire post to it, but we can’t stress the importance of peeking inside your makeup bag and switching things up. Bold berries can be tossed to make room for corals, fuchsias, and pinks.
