Stylisted - Not So Scary Halloween Makeup Ideas Clown

GLAMOROUS CLOWN

LA stylist, Sarah Nelson, has experience across the board, but frequently finds herself with the opportunity to work with exciting editorial shoots or celebrity clients. For those looking for a costume involving a lot of makeup “play time,” this is the one for you. Bust out your craziest shadows, blushes, and lipsticks and go to town on the makeup & hair products. Or just have Sarah help 😉

EIGHTIES GIRL

Though the 90s may be all the rage makeup-wise right now, the fashion and beauty of the 80s will always hold a place in our Halloween round-ups. Between the heavily-shadowed neon eyes, pastel lips, and printed outfits, an 80s ensemble can come together quite quickly with just a few things you probably already having lying around. Just take a cue from the above photo found in Chyla Camacho‘s portfolio.

SCHOOL GIRL

This costume idea, courtesy of Stylisted stylist Maritza Buelvas is a bit of a throwback to the long gone days of ‘Hit Me Baby’ past. We love taking a classic Halloween look and giving it a modern update like Maritza did here.

Stylisted - Not So Scary Halloween Makeup Ideas Mad Men

MAD MEN

As Mad Men came to a close this year, we mourned not only for the loss of the show but also the loss of constant hair and makeup inspiration. Many of the beauty looks from Mad Men made women appear as womanly as possible, which is a fun take for Halloween as the “pin-up” style costume is always trending. Plus, everyone knows we love a good red lip. (P.S. This is also another Sarah Nelson look – see how good she is?!)
