It’s our final installment of our fall makeup tutorial partnership with Hourglass Cosmetics! We’ve had so much fun putting all of these looks together – we hope you enjoyed them, too. Don’t forget to try out the other looks in the series: a fun brunch tutorial and an easy work-appropriate makeup look. Now on to our last: date night!
Start with a light base, like the Hourglass Illusion Hyalurnoic Skin Tint (as demo’d in our first tutorial). Moving on to eyes, Kasha worked with Hourglass’ Modernist Eyeshadow Palette, using the second to last shade in the palette all over Allegra’s eyes as a base.
Blend out with a big, fluffy brush. Working with dark colors can be intimidating, so blending is key!
In the crease, work in some of the bronze shade found at the end of the palette.
Soften the look by using the light bronze shade above the crease and on the center of the eyelid to draw in light.
Line the upper lash line with the deep second shade in the palette. Take some of the same color underneath the eyes in a smudgy, smoky way – no need to keep this clean and precise!
Clean up whatever may have fallen underneath the eyes with a touch of the Skin Tint and apply the Ambient Lighting Powder as a highlighter to the cheekbones, cupid’s bow, center of forehead, and down the nose.
Apply one of our all-time favorite blushes, the Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure.
Add the Femme Rogue Velvet Creme Lipstick in Deep Berry to finish off the look.
