It’s that time of the month again! If you’re not familiar with these sort of favorite posts, we explain it in a bit more detail here (and, as always, highly recommend checking out where they originally stem from – YouTube gurus). This month we can’t get enough of:
Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polish in Sweet Lavender – This pretty hue has us dreaming of spring and makes us smile when we look down at our hands and picture warmer days. More importantly, it actually does dry in (around) 60 seconds and LASTS. SO. WELL.
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze – We’ve been wearing this eyeshadow solo in almost every occasion imaginable. It blends easily with your finger or classic blending brush and can be built up for a duo-chrome-esque night look, or worn alone for a simple wash of color during the day.
Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black Rollerball – As mentioned in our monthly must-haves last week, this perfume is our new favorite. We’ve been hoarding samples for a while (including this rollerball, which may be the most convenient and most loved thing we own) and have decided to bite the bullet.
NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss – This gloss had a good run on YouTube a few years back. Vloggers could not stop talking about the smell, the application, the color, and for good reason. It’s the perfect neutral lip gloss. While we’ve heard the entire range is hit-and-miss, this shade in particular serves us well. Just check your teeth after applying – it tends to initially cling to them easily!
Maybelline The Nudes Palette – While this palette is not our all-time favorite, it is one of the few neutral drugstore palettes on the market. It’s a palette we’ve recently traveled with and found its compact size and color selection to be just what we wanted. The only downside is the pigmentation, or lack thereof, in some shades. We want to love this palette, but it just doesn’t deliver as much vibrancy as we’d like. That doesn’t mean we’ll stop using it or regret purchasing it, it’s just not as great of a palette as, say, the one it’s based off of.
Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Framboise – Since February is often the dreariest month, I like to counteract the gloomy days with a bold pop of color. This lip crayon is perfectly smooth and moisturizing, with vivid pigment that lasts through several cups of coffee.
Crane Ultrasonic Cool Mist Drop Shape Humidifier – Sleeping with my humidifier has been a game changer. It’s like an 8 hour mini facial and I can’t stop talking about it. Within days, I saw a huge improvement in my chapped winter skin. Not to mention, I was sleeping and breathing better which does the body good! This chic model sits perfectly on your nightstand or your desk and comes in a variety of fun colors or neutral tones.
