This time of year is one of the best – awards shows galore! So much good beauty and fashion to be seen on some of our favorite celebs. We’re kicking things off with one of our favorite looks of the night – Mandy Moore, who has made quite the comeback this year (though she never really left our hearts). Not only is This Is Us one of our favorite shows on tv this season but Mandy has knocked it out of the park almost every time she’s been spotted in public this year style and beauty-wise. So glad to have her back on the regular Hollywood circuit. For the Golden Globes, her deep V paired with a center part and loose waves was perfect, but what we can’t get over is her makeup. Moore rocked glowy skin with one of the most unique smoky eyes we’ve ever seen (a shimmery golden lid, lots of lashes, and deep blue eyeshadow smudged into the lower lashline). We can’t wait to see more of her this year.
Though we didn’t love her dress, we always appreciate Kerry Washington‘s sense of style. The light brunette streak of hair served as the perfect bit of warmth to her vampy makeup look. Kerry’s radiant complexion paired well with her contoured eyeshadow and wine-stained lips pushed her to one of our top beauty looks of the night.
Tonal makeup looks were huge on the Golden Globes red carpet this year and Olivia Culpo‘s was no substitute. From her double braided bun (one of our favorite updo looks!) to her perfect brows to a truly pretty makeup look, Olivia shined.
Michelle Williams‘ pixie cut is still one of our favorite hairstyles ever. The dramatic liquid liner served as a bold touch to her porcelain skin and warm glossy lips. Michelle always pushes the envelope when it comes to awards style and this look is no exception.
Emily Ratajkowski sported a loose, wavy lob with another of our favorite tonal makeup looks of the night. A shimmery orange-toned eye served as summer ’17 beauty inspiration (too soon?!) and we still can’t get over that lip color. If anyone has any idea what that stain? gloss? balm? could be, let us know ASAP.
Oh, Emma Stone. What a star! Not only was she one of our favorite dressed overall, but we couldn’t get over her soft pink makeup too (tonal again!). We’re thinking of pinning this and keeping it top of mind for this spring – any interest in a tutorial?
