We’re back with Part 2 of our Hourglass partnership! If you missed the first installment, click over here to see look number one (perfect for school/work). Today, we’ve teamed up with the brand (and Stylisted makeup artist Kasha Rodig and model Allegra Walker) again to bring you a fun, fall-inspired brunch makeup look. This one might even be useful to bookmark for Thanksgiving day makeup!
Add the Hourglass Femme Rogue Velvet Creme Lipstick in Nocturnal – Deep to the lips as a base (more to come on the lips later!). We often find that adding our lip first helps to keep us from going overboard on the eyes!
Using Hourglass’ Modernist Eyeshadow Palette, Kasha worked with the medium shade all over the lid to start, following up with the fourth shade in the crease to add definition.
Kasha added that same dark shade used above under Allegra’s eyes to keep her eyes appealing full and lashline looking voluminous. Finish off the look by lining the upper lash line with the deepest shade in the palette and applying mascara.
Highlight the face on the cheekbones, forehead, down the nose, cupid’s bow, and center of the chin with the Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal.
Finish off the look with our favorite touch – a bit of sparkle on the lip! Using the eyeshadow palette, take the middle shade (a mid-tone warm bronze) and apply it with your ring finger directly to the center of both the top and bottom lips and blend in lightly. This adds an unexpected touch to the lip, which looks so so pretty in sunlight – and, somehow, still feels comfortable on the lips!
